Renault India is gearing up for a major comeback in the SUV market with the much-awaited new-generation Renault Duster. According to recent reports, the popular SUV will make its India debut around Diwali 2025, with an official launch expected in early 2026.
The third-generation Renault Duster has already been unveiled in South Africa in a right-hand drive format, priced from 489,999 Rand (approx. ₹23.36 lakh). Built on the CMF-B modular platform, the new Duster draws inspiration from the Dacia Bigster concept, featuring a bold design with Y-shaped LED DRLs, chrome grille accents, rugged cladding, squared wheel arches, roof rails, and stylish Y-shaped LED tail lamps.
Inside, the SUV is equipped with premium features such as dual digital displays (7-inch driver’s display & 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), Arkamys 3D sound, climate control, rear AC vents, 360-degree camera, Type-C charging, and power-adjustable seating.
Globally, the 2025 Renault Duster comes with three engine options:
In India, the new Renault Duster will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and Citroen C3 Aircross, while also facing future rivals like the Tata Curvv and Citroen Basalt.
With the discontinuation of the earlier model in 2022, the return of the Renault Duster marks an important step in strengthening Renault’s India lineup, alongside the Kwid, Triber, and Kiger.
