Maruti Suzuki has finally unveiled its all-new SUV – the Maruti Suzuki Victoris, a premium offering under the Arena portfolio. Positioned above the Brezza, the Victoris aims to make a strong statement in the highly competitive mid-size SUV segment. With its bold design, feature-loaded interior, and segment-first safety technologies, the Victoris is set to rival top models like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Toyota Hyryder. Let’s take a closer look at its design, features, specifications, and mileage.
For years, safety has been a concern for Maruti Suzuki buyers. The Victoris changes this perception by securing a 5-star BNCAP crash test rating, making it one of the safest SUVs in the lineup. Standard safety features include 6 airbags, disc brakes on all wheels, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold.
The highlight, however, is the introduction of Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) – a first for Maruti Suzuki in India. The ADAS suite offers:
This advanced safety tech puts the Victoris on par with premium SUVs in India.
The Victoris stands out with its modern yet subtle styling. The front fascia is inspired by the e-Vitara, featuring slender LED headlights connected by a slim chrome strip. The blacked-out lower bumper houses high-set fog lamps, giving the SUV a bold stance.
From the side, the SUV’s length is highlighted by a large quarter glass, while 17-inch turbine-style alloy wheels add a sporty appeal. At the rear, the Victoris gets connected LED tail lamps with a unique scattered lighting signature.
The SUV will be available in 10 colour options, including Mystic Green and Eternal Blue as brand-new shades. Buyers can also choose from 3 dual-tone paint schemes.
Step inside, and the Victoris greets you with a dual-tone black and ivory cabin. A 3-layer soft-touch dashboard, textured upholstery, and piano-black accents enhance the premium feel.
Practicality has also been improved, with the CNG cylinder neatly tucked under the boot floor, ensuring usable luggage space.
With such an extensive features list, the Victoris raises the benchmark for Maruti Suzuki’s Arena lineup.
The SUV borrows its powertrain options from the Grand Vitara, offering both petrol and hybrid choices.
Fuel efficiency has always been Maruti’s strong suit, and the Victoris continues the tradition with impressive figures:
With such numbers, the Victoris stands as one of the most fuel-efficient SUVs in its class.
The Maruti Suzuki Victoris is more than just another mid-size SUV. It represents a bold step forward for the brand with its 5-star safety rating, ADAS technology, premium interiors, hybrid efficiency, and practical design.
For buyers looking for a safe, feature-rich, and fuel-efficient SUV in the ₹12–20 lakh range (expected), the Victoris is shaping up to be a strong contender against established rivals.
With bookings set to open soon and prices to be revealed shortly, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris might just be the next blockbuster in India’s SUV market.
