June 2025 wrapped up with exciting new car launches in India, like the Tata Harrier EV and the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition. Now, July 2025 is set to continue the momentum, bringing fresh models across different segments—including electric vehicles—from brands like Kia, MG, and BMW. Here’s a roundup of the key cars debuting this month:

Kia Carens Clavis Electric

  • Unveil Date: July 15, 2025
  • Expected Price: ₹16 lakh (ex-showroom)

Following the launch of the ICE (internal combustion engine) Carens Clavis in May 2025, Kia is ready to showcase its first mass-market EV on July 15. Spy shots suggest the electric Carens Clavis will carry a design similar to its petrol counterpart, while adding EV-specific touches such as aerodynamic alloy wheels and revised bumpers for better efficiency.

Inside, the cabin is likely to maintain the same layout but may feature a unique interior theme and extra equipment. Expected new features include a powered co-driver seat with boss mode and ventilated seats for the second row. While technical specifications remain under wraps, the Carens Clavis Electric is rumoured to offer multiple battery options, delivering up to 500 km of claimed range.

MG Cyberster

  • Expected Launch Date: TBA
  • Expected Price: ₹80 lakh (ex-showroom)

MG is gearing up to launch the Cyberster, its bold new electric roadster, in India in July 2025. Previously showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the Cyberster sports an eye-catching design, featuring scissor doors, petal-shaped LED DRLs, 20-inch alloys, and distinctive arrow-shaped LED tail lights with a rear LED lightbar.

Inside, the Cyberster boasts a futuristic cockpit layout with four digital screens—including a 10.25-inch touchscreen and dedicated climate control display. Safety is robust with six airbags and a Level-2 ADAS suite offering features like lane keep assist and driver drowsiness detection.

The India-spec Cyberster will be powered by a 77 kWh battery paired with dual electric motors producing a combined 510 PS and 725 Nm. It offers a claimed driving range of 443 km, and pre-bookings are already open.

MG M9

  • Expected Launch Date: TBA
  • Expected Price: ₹70 lakh (ex-showroom)

Another big launch expected from MG in July is the M9, a premium electric MPV. Revealed alongside the Cyberster at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the M9 brings a clean, modern aesthetic with its boxy profile, projector LED headlights, aerodynamic 19-inch wheels, and connected LED tail lamps. Electric sliding doors enhance its practicality.

The interior is luxurious, featuring a dual-tone black-and-tan dashboard, dual digital displays, a panoramic sunroof for rear passengers, and 3-zone climate control. Notable features include ventilated and massaging seats for the front and middle rows, 64-colour ambient lighting, and an extensive safety suite with a Level-2 ADAS system, 360-degree camera, and multiple airbags.

While final India-specific specs are pending, the international version comes with a 90 kWh battery paired to a 244 PS front-mounted motor, offering a WLTP-claimed range of 430 km.
